Body

Locate the AMX control panel, which is mounted on the wall behind/next to the instructor station. The system is set up for one button operation.

  1. Check the system for illuminated lights. If the lights are illuminated the system is on.

    • If the buttons are not illuminated, press and hold the “SYSTEM ON/OFF” button for 3 sec. This should turn the system on.

  2. To turn on the projector, simply press the "DISPLAY ON" button and the projector will power on.

    • It takes the projector a couple seconds to fully turn on. You will hear a single "BEEP" in response to you pressing the "DISPLAY ON" button.

  3. Selecting an input:

    • If the desired input device is not displayed on the projector, please select the corresponding input button.

      • For example, the INSTRUCTOR STATION/COMPUTER will be in the HDMI 1 button

      • HDMI 2 is the GUEST HDMI CABLE - typically not plugged into anything

      • If your guest computer utilizes a USB-C cable connection - please submit a service request

  4. Turning off the Projector

    • Press the "DISPLAY OFF" button and the projector will turn off.

    • There is a slight delay for the projector to fully turn off. You will hear (2) beeps after pressing the "DISPLAY OFF" button. This confirms that the projector has received it's turn off signal from the wall panel.

    • If you want to turn the projector back on, but have already pressed the DISPLAY OFF button, you will need to wait a minute before pressing the DISPLAY ON button again. It cannot turn on and off immediately.

  5. Volume

    • The wall panel has a black volume knob with green LED lights. This controls the audio for the speakers in the room.
