Description
Campus Technologies can provide Audio Visual services and support to faculty and staff such as broadcasting, live streaming, video recording, projectors, WePresent, and more. Audio Visual Event support is also provided by Campus Technologies. Service requests require supervisor approval and the timeline for resolution is dependent on the request.
Standard Features
Campus Technologies can provide service for the following types of requests
- Audio Visual Service Request
- Services include broadcasting, live streaming, video recording, projectors, WePresent, and more.
- Audio Visual Event Request
- Services include the equipment and set up needed for your event such as LCD Projector, Projector Screen, Video Conference, Microphone.
- If the event needs to be recorded, PCTV should be contacted at pctv@parkland.edu.
- If a Powered Podium is needed, please submit a Physical Plant work order when requesting room setup
Training, Compliance, and Policies
Faculty/Staff Responsibilities
- Faculty/Staff are responsible for providing details related to the request including the request type, a detailed description, and other relevant information included on the request form.
- Faculty/Staff agrees to allow Campus Technologies staff to access their equipment physically or remotely t an agreed upon time when this access is needed to complete the request.
- Faculty/Staff agrees to communicate in a timely manner with Campus Technologies
- Faculty/Staff service requests will be subject to supervisor approval.
- Faculty/Staff agrees to meet with Campus Technologies physically or remotely to discuss the content of the request.
Campus Technologies Responsibilities
- Campus Technologies will communicate the status of the request to the user as needed.
- Campus Technologies will communicate changes to the estimated completion date of the request as needed.
Request Process
For Audio Visual Support requests, click the AV Service Request button and complete the request form.
For Event Support Requests, click the AV Event Request button and fill out the form.
