Description
Campus Technologies can provide necessary role-based provisioning at the enterprise level to faculty and staff who need access to a variety of technology. Campus Technologies can also help with requests such as account creation for new employees (including student employees) and account changes for existing employees. Service Requests require supervisor approval and the timeline for resolution is dependent on the request.
Standard Features
Campus Technologies can provide service for the following types of requests
- Request for Additional Access
- Services include identity and access management, including accounts, authentication, access, and role-based provisioning at the enterprise level. Software/Services/Systems include Colleague, 25Live, Cornerstone, and more.
- Colleague Account Request or Change Form
- Services include Colleague access requests or requests for changes to Colleague access for P/T and F/T employees.
- Employee Account Request or Change Form
- Services include assignment of ParklandOne credentials, access to workstation, email, my.parkland, Cobra, Office 365, default printer(s), H: drive, and main departmental folder(s) on N: drive.

Student Worker Account Request
- Services include new account creation for student works. This allows for access to workstation, Outlook/Office365, default printer(s), and shared departmental folder on the N: drive.
Training, Compliance, and Policies
Faculty/Staff Responsibilities
- Faculty/Staff are responsible for providing details related to the request including the request type, a detailed description, and other relevant information included on the request form.
- Faculty/Staff agrees to allow Campus Technologies staff to access their equipment physically or remotely t an agreed upon time when this access is needed to complete the request.
- Faculty/Staff agrees to communicate in a timely manner with Campus Technologies
- Faculty/Staff service requests will be subject to supervisor approval.
- Faculty/Staff agrees to meet with Campus Technologies physically or remotely to discuss the content of the request.
Campus Technologies Responsibilities
- Campus Technologies will communicate the status of the request to the user as needed.
- Campus Technologies will communicate changes to the estimated completion date of the request as needed.
Request Process
For general access requests, click the Submit Request for Additional Access button and complete the request form.
- For Colleague account requests or changes, click the Colleague Account Request or Change button.
- Print out the physical document, attach the FERPA training certificate from Everfi, gather signatures for approval, then submit the completed form in A184. Alternatively, electronic signatures can be obtained and the document can be sent to techhelp@parkland.edu.
- For employee account requests or changes, click the Employee Account Request or Change button.

- For student worker account requests, click the Student Worker Account Request button.
- Print out the physical document, gather signatures for approval, then submit the completed form in A184. Alternatively, electronic signatures can be obtained and the document can be sent to techhelp@parkland.edu. If Colleague access is needed, the FERPA Verification Form must be attached. Student employee accounts expire at the end of every semester and renewal must be requested via submission of a new form.
